37 WEEKS...WOO HOO!!! I am very happy to have made it this far, but honestly Baby Sophie, I am done. Please make your appearance sooner rather than later. My immune system has crashed on me. I caught some stomach bug a week and a half ago that was torture. Then my son had strep throat and apparently, I have had that now since last Thursday with no signs of relief thus far. I am done, done, done with being sick. My next appointment is tomorrow morning and I am going weekly after that. Hopefully there will be some signs of encouragement that I will be having this baby sooner than later.
I didn't take any pics of myself this weekend as I haven't been feeling up to par. And I managed to get burnt yesterday. So here's one I took with my phone for my nesties on Friday.
you're 37 weeks pregnant!
Today brings two beautiful words: full-term. Now, whenever baby's born, he's likely to thrive. Also thriving? Your nesting instincts, which are behind those sudden urges to bake, clean, or embroider a onesie. (Feminists, take your issue up with nature, not with us.)

Baby's now the size of a watermelon!Your full-term (yay!) baby is gaining about 1/2 ounce a day and getting his first sticky poop (called meconium) ready. He's also brushing up on skills for the outside world: blinking, sucking, inhaling, exhaling, and gripping (it's getting strong!).

oh no! sorry to hear you have been so sick. hopefully sophie will be here SOON! :)
Aw, sorry to hear life kinda sucks a little right now. Being sick WHILE pregnant is definitely no fun. I hope you get well soon and get some rest before your precious little girl arrives. If she does come early, be sure to send pictures this way ASAP! ;-) Is the nursery all set up and ready? This was the stage that I began washing all of the tiny clothes in dreft and loading up the drawers with diapers, wipes, lotion, etc. Come on, Baby Sophie!
